  21. I followed the Ground Fog tutorial in the Jan issue of VTU and found
  22. my output looked different from the provided pictures. I have
  23. horizontal bands throughout the fog. I get falloff on the tops, but I
  24. see a hard edge on the bottoms.

  26. Obviously this isn't right. I get the impression that the bottom of
  27. the individual plates should extend below the camera so they are out
  28. of sight. Also, the ground plane is simply a large white square. It
  29. doesn't have any discernable fractal noise in it because of the
  30. settings used.

  32. I'd like to know what it is that David Hopkins did to get his to look
  33. right.
